Story
Martín Guas sings, writes and plays because music is how he makes sense of things. And somehow, it keeps opening doors. He writes songs that feel like a real conversation: honest, warm, a little bit brave. They've earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album, and they've led him into rooms with people he admires, including Javier Limón, Armando Manzanero, Larry Klein, Kurt Elling, Shreya Ghoshal, Clinton Cerejo, John Legend, Laufey, Lizzy McAlpine and many more. As an artist at Berklee, he helps singers connect with their own voice and with what they stand for, building technical mastery and emotional truth side by side. In recent years, several of his students have gone on to full scholarships at the schools they dreamed of. Whether it's a studio, a stage or a one-on-one session, the goal is the same: find the thing only you can say, and say it out loud.
